Off-season Strength Training For Runners
This 50-minute class will take your through a full-body strength and mobility workout that addresses common movement and strength issues in runners. This class is a great way to introduce runners to strength training. You will improve your body’s resiliency and your running performance through a more focused strength program.
Workouts utilize bands, free weights, and other gym equipment to challenge your core, postural control, balance, gluteal recruitment, and all of your lower body muscles.
Parkinson’s Movement Class
This class is led by a LSVT certified physical therapist. The structure of the class includes:
Warm-up/Movement Priming
Amplitude specific training - targets specific functional movement tasks such as turning 360°, throwing/catching a ball, step-up.
Gait training - BIG walking tasks/drills
