Personal Trainer

Emily is a dedicated fitness mentor and certified personal trainer. With a solid foundation in health sciences, a relentless pursuit to expand this knowledge through her ongoing doctoral program in physical therapy, and a passion for helping individuals of all ages and abilities, Emily’s intention is to equip you with the tools to achieve optimal health and fitness.  

Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of Cincinnati, where she developed a deep understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and the principles of health and wellness. Currently, she is a student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, striving to strengthen her expertise.

Her personal journey in fitness is a testament to her dedication – she has trained and completed the flying pig full marathon, a few half marathons, 10ks, and 5ks. Her athletic background included competitive basketball and soccer, providing her with a deep understanding of sports conditioning and performance enhancement. Currently, outside of her academic and professional commitments, she passionately focused on boxing, having actively participated in the sport for the last three years. Emily has also taken on the role of teaching boxing classes for the past year and a half, where she had the privilege of sharing her knowledge and passion with a diverse clientele.

Emily holds a Certified Personal Trainer credential from the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Earning her certification in late 2020, she brings over two and a half years of hands-on experience as a personal trainer, having worked in a variety of fitness environments. During this time, she had the opportunity to work with clients from all walks of life, each with their unique fitness goals and needs. Additionally, she is a NASM Certified Nutritional Coach, allowing her to offer holistic support for your well-being.

Emily’s approach to fitness is rooted in client-centered support, empowering you to build not only physical strength but to enhance your self-confidence, improve your overall health, boost self-efficacy, and ultimately achieve your fitness goals with confidence and success.
