Pilates
We are proud to offer both private/semi-private sessions as well as small group Pilates classes, led by our certified Pilates instructors.
Pilates focuses on full body strength and mobility using Pilates equipment such as the reformer, chair, mat and various props. Our instructors are known to use specific cueing that help you feel exercises in a very deep and powerful way. These cues and sessions are driven by Pilates principles such as breathing, centering, concentration, control, flow and precision. Your mind and body will be challenged and empowered!
Private/Semi-Private Pilates Session
In a private setting, our instructors will guide you through customized exercises that address your full body strength and mobility needs. You will use a combination of Pilates reformer, chair and mat equipment during your session. If you are transitioning from physical therapy, your Pilates instructor will communicate with your physical therapist, so as to address your specific needs and goals. Sessions are 50 minutes.
Private Prenatal/Postpartum Corrective Exercise Session
This service is for women in the Perinatal spectrum, who are wanting to exercise in a safe and responsible manner. Sometimes it’s confusing what is “safe or okay” to do and when. Our specialists will empower you with information and a thorough assessment of your body, so you feel confident moving forward in your own personal exercise journey. You will learn the incredible relationship between breath, posture, pelvic floor and how to add those elements into movement. We want you to know, it is never “too late” to work on pelvic floor health. Clients who are both newly and 20+ years postpartum have had wonderful success working with our specialists!
Class: FOUNDATIONS for movement

First Sunday of every month, 2-2:45p
Limited to 6 participants
This class is recommended for anyone wanting to deepen their movement practice at Beyond Exercise (rehab clients, personal training, Pilates, etc). We will go over what BE considers the foundational elements of any exercise or movement routine. You will learn diaphragmatic breathing, core activation/pressure management, and postural considerations. We are thrilled to begin offering this class, as these key elements are essential for making your fitness the most effective it can be. Foundations is designed to be taken as a one-time class.
Class format will be a combination of both lecture and interactive practice and coaching. Wear comfortable clothes; bring water bottle and notebook if desired.
